Andy Cofer was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated with honors from Halls High School and then attended Maryville College. Andy played College Golf while at Maryville College and graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science. After his undergraduate studies, Andy began his legal career at Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. While in law school, he received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Sports Law and the Oliver Otis Howard Pro Bono Award for completing over 100 hours of Pro Bono legal work.
Andy joined the Garza Law Firm as a clerk during law school and has been with the firm ever since. After passing the bar exam, he was admitted to practice law in Tennessee and Kentucky, focusing his practice on personal injury and sports law. In his spare time, Andy enjoys playing golf, attending University of Tennessee sporting events, and spending time with his Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd.
