Jerome Cochran grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. Jerome attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and Regent University School of Law. He practiced law in Elizabethton, TN for fifteen years before being appointed an Administrative Law Judge, a position he held for eight years. Jerome is also a former member of the Tennessee House of Representatives—where he served for four years representing Carter County—and a former board member of the Tennessee Post-Conviction Oversight Committee.
Mr. Cochran has practiced criminal, domestic, bankruptcy, and administrative law in both state and federal courts and is a licensed Rule 31 mediator. He has served on various charitable boards including the TLC Community Center, The Shepherd’s Inn, and the Friends of Sycamore Shoals State Park.
Jerome has been married to his wife, Sandy, for 28 years and they have four children.
