Dan practices civil litigation, personal injury, and immigration law, serving clients in East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and worldwide. Having received his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he is admitted to the bar of these courts: EOIR – Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Courts & Board of Immigration Appeals), District of Columbia, U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, United States Supreme Court.
Dan is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, National Immigration Litigation Alliance, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and American Association for Justice.
Dan is an ordained minister, serving as pastor of Mosaic Church in Bristol, TN, and holds a Master of Divinity from Duke University. In ACC basketball, however, his first loyalty is to his undergrad, N.C. State University. He is also an adjunct instructor at King University, having taught world politics, U.S. government, religion and politics, healthcare law and ethics, and philosophy.
Dan has served on several non-profit boards and is a recent past President of the Board of Directors for Bristol Faith in Action. You might also catch Dan onstage with Theatre Bristol as an actor or digging in the dirt as an amateur archeologist. Dan lives in Bristol with his phenomenal wife, Samantha, and they have three fantastic children.
