Daniel Morrell

Daniel Morrell was born and raised in Elizabethton, Tennessee. Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law.

During his time at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Daniel concentrated in client advocacy and was the recipient of the Warren Wesley Kennerly Scholarship for Achievement in Legal Ethics and the Charles H. Miller Excellence in Civil Advocacy Award. While studying the practice of law, Daniel also served as a clerk for the Honorable Clifford T. Shirley and the Honorable H. Bruce Guyton in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Daniel is an experienced trial attorney and has successfully tried cases from misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. Daniel has extensive experience in D.U.I. defense and has completed Standardized Field Sobriety Test Training (SFST), Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE), and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training. Daniel is well versed in self-defense law, and he routinely gives presentations on firearm laws in Tennessee. Moreover, Daniel has consistently earned the highest recognition from national trial groups and has perennially been nominated as one of the top criminal, juvenile, and D.U.I. defense attorneys in Tennessee, as voted upon by attorneys who practice in the area.
